web2.0: new google service “google latitude”

google hat mit seinem service google latitude wieder mal etwas ganz ganz cooles lanciert..  googles latitude ist ein geolocation service ähnlich wie brightkite oder loopt der einem hilft den aufenthalts ort seiner freunde auf einem kompatiblen mobiltelefon zu sehen.. mit dem unterschied, das google die daten zimlich realtime anbietet (sofern man das will) und bei brightkite manuell nach dem standort gesucht werden muss und dieser dann eingeloggt wird.. (die datenschützer werden jetzt wieder schreien, jedoch ist es wie bei so manchem web 2.0 dienst jedem selber überlassen wieviel man preisgibt..)

das problem am ganzen ist, das wer den service brauchen will, einen google account braucht.. ähnlich ists mit den freunden, google fügt jeden mit dem man emails austauscht zur freundesliste hinzu.. dort liegt das problem, von einigen meiner freunde weiss ich keine emailadresse, da ich mich mit ihnen über facebook oder twitter austausche.. wir können also gespannt sein, wann twitter oder facebook den geoservice in ihre profile integieren.. weiter lassen sich mit solchen services interesannte dienste verwirklichen.. z.b. könnte man sich alarmieren lassen wann ein freund in der nähe ist, man könnte sich alarmieren lassen wenn in einem laden an dem man vorbei lauft gerade etwas aktion ist das man schon lange wollte.. oder man könnte sich auch alarmieren lassen wenn jemand in der nähe ist den man lieber im moment nicht sehen will..
wir sehen also, die ganzen geo features haben erst gerade angefangen und wir können gespannt sein was da noch auf und zukommt und auch wer am schluss das rennen macht in diesem noch jungen markt..

crash: flugzeug im new yorker hudson river notgewassert

wie über twitter schon seit gestern abend “gezwitschert” wurde ist ein flugzeug im new yorker hudson river notgelandet. zur notlandung kam es nachdem der pilot kurz nach dem start einen lauten knall hörte (wahrscheinlich gänse die ins triebwerk gerieten) und es für eine umkehr zum flughafen la guardia von wo aus er startete nicht mehr reichte.. der pilot Chesley B. Sullenberger wird demnach als held des tages gefeiert oder sogar in die geschichte eingehen. hat er nicht nur die pasagiere gerettet, sondern auch eine katastrophe über new york wie 2001 verhindert..

das interesannte an der geschichte ist, das die ersten meldungen dieses ereignisses, wie auch schon einige andere (Mumbai, Gaza etc.) sich rasend schnell über web2.0 tools verbreiten und die schweizer print und online medien fast als letzte eine meldung im news ticker hatten.. benützen die den die web2.0 tools nicht?

so ist es auch, ein mit kammera handy ausgerüsteter pasagier der das erste foto im web veröffentlichte.. das bild wurde schon über 140000 mal angeschaut..

web2.0: schweizer eltern machen politischen druck mittels youtube video

vor etwas mehr als einem monat ist auf der kantonsstrasse zwischen Meierskappel und Udligenswil im kanton luzern auf tragische weise die 15 jährige Lynn Bühler bei einem autounfall ums leben gekommen.

die strecke gillt schon länger als gefährlich, sind in den letzten 40jahren doch schon 4 menschen bei unfällen dort gestorben.
die familie von Lynn Bühler hat nun ein video mit erinnerungs fotos und dem aufruf sich per mail an den zuständigen politiker zu wenden produziert und dieses auf youtube gestellt. bisher haben mehr als 6000 personen dieses video angeschaut..

wir werden sehen was es bringt.. falls es politisch nichts bringt hoffe ich doch Lynn’s familie kommt dadurch ein bisschen besser über dieses schreckliche ereignis weg.. mein herzliches beileid..
